Black Women in Production Inc. is where Black women step into the next chapter of their careers — this time, behind the camera. In an industry where Black women are often underrepresented, undervalued, and overlooked, BWIP exists to tackle the disparities that continue to limit access, visibility, and opportunity. We provide the tools, resources, and community to change that.
Through the BWIP Lab (coming soon), filmmakers move from script to screen with access to crew, production resources, and industry-standard infrastructure. The GreenLit Fund removes financial barriers by providing the funding needed to bring bold, culturally resonant films to life — ensuring projects don’t just get started, they get finished.
For every Black woman entering her next chapter — whether pivoting from another career, reigniting a filmmaking dream, or stepping onto set for the first time — this is where your story is developed, produced, and shared with the world.
